Save (Saving):

Save, or saving, is when a player deliberately keeps their remaining weapons and utility by avoiding a risky fight or round loss. In Counter-Strike 2, teams save to preserve money and equipment for later rounds, especially when winning the current round is unlikely.

Saving is a standard economy decision: a player may retreat, hide, and carry guns into the next round instead of spending resources on a low-probability retake or clutch. It is common after a lost bombsite take or when the round timer leaves too little time to recover the weapon.
