In Overwatch 2, dive teams usually rely on fast engagement, vertical movement, and coordinated target focus to bypass a frontline and pressure supports or damage heroes in the backline. The composition matters because it rewards timing, positioning, and communication: if the team engages together, it can overwhelm a target; if the dive is delayed or split, the attack often fails.
