NetEase can take several steps to address rank inflation, such as reintroducing mid-season rank resets, increasing point penalties for losses, and implementing a placement match system to better distribute players at the start of each season. Removing Chrono Shields or adjusting the way rank points are earned could also help ensure that only truly skilled players reach the highest tiers.
